Who we are
The United Arab Emirates Garrison first formed an outpost in 2002.
In 2019, we officially became a Garrison in the 501st Legion with 25+ official members and growing! The Garrison is proudly one of the most diverse and multinational units of the 501st Legion with 10+ nationalities among our members. From Brazilian to Polish, to Scottish to Emirati. Everyone is welcome in our ranks!
Fast-forward to 2022 and the Garrison celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Why do we do what we do?
We are all fans of Star Wars, regardless if we are members of the 501st Legion or not. In our case, we express our fandom through the use of costumes. We enjoy giving back by supporting charities or participating in community events. Most importantly, we enjoy putting smiles on peoples’ faces!
